Councillor Leadman would like to thank all of those who were able to attend last night’s meeting (Sept. 1) about the future of 114 Richmond Road. The meeting was very well attended and many residents took an opportunity to voice their opinions and ask questions. Attached below is the presentation Councillor Leadman gave last night.

READ MORE >Kitchissippi Ward has seen a significant increase in population over the past few years due to the City’s focus on intensification. This has translated in a rise in the level of traffic and the ensuing problems associated with it. Most streets in the ward are experiencing pressures as a result of this and particularly residential streets which were not originally built to accommodate current levels. As a result, Councillor Leadman has been working with residents and community associations across the ward to take steps to reduce speeds, address driver behaviour and the number of cars cutting through residential streets.
